Playing with the Free Designer Series Paper

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

As some of you may know - I love embellishments, so my first choice from the Sale-A-Bration freebies this year was the sequins and the ribbon.  However, now I've started to play with the free dsp and I'm loving it.  

Toadstool Garden is a 6x6 pack, #164942 and the 12 x 12 is called Bloom Impressions, #164944.  I think they coordinate beautifully.

***  The Trix  ***

*  Adhere a 3 x 5 1/2 piece of Toadstool Garden striped DSP to the left side of a Fresh Freesia 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base.

*  Choose a 3 x 4 1/2 complimentary pattern and cut it into a tag shape, *Trix, mark the centre of the 3 inch side then use the lines on the Paper Trimmer, #152392 to cut the same angle off either side.  Then adhere to the card base.  

*  Stamp the 'thank you' sentiment from My Small Business Stamp Set, #163720 with Melon Mambo ink onto a 1 1/2 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock.  Then adhere to the tag with dimensionals.

*  Embellish with Paper Butterfly Accents, #162612.  *Trix, carefully add a bit of Melon Mambo ink to the butterfly using a Blending Brush, #153611.  Adhere the butterfly beside the sentiment with a glue dot rolled up so the wings can still flutter :)

*  Embellish with a Free Fresh Freesia bow, #164971 and Free Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins, #164970

The Sweet & Simple Version

*  Adhere a piece of Free Bloom Impressions DSP to a Melon Mambo 4 1/4 x 5 1/ card base.  The dsp is a smidge smaller, about 1/16 of an inch.  

*  Adhere a 3 x 4 1/2 piece of Toadstool Gardens DSP to the card base and stamp the Thank You from My Small Business Stamp Set with Melon Mambo ink on a 1 1/2 x 3 inch piece of Basic White cardstock.  

*  Adhere a Melon Mambo coloured Paper Butterfly Accent to the card and embellish with Purple Adhesive Backed Sequins.
