A Simple Christmas Card with Frosted Forest Decorative Masks

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

I love starting with a simple Christmas Card design, then playing around with decorative masks and blending brushes to make each one a bit different.  The Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder, #164049 adds a bit texture to the Pretty Peacock background.

***  The Trix  ***

*  Use a blending brush to add a bit of White Craft Stampin' Ink, to the Pretty Peacock embossed layer.

* Use the Frosted Forest Decorative Masks, #164350 and Pretty Peacock ink to create the Christmas Tree.  *Trix, start with the 'B' mask and blend Pretty Peacock Ink onto a 2 1/2 " x 4 1/2" piece of Basic White cardstock.  Remove the mask then line up the 'A' mask, continue to blend with the ink left in the brush, it will be slightly slighter.  Add White Craft ink for a heavier look of snow on the branches.

*  Stamp a greeting with Melon Mambo ink and adhere a layer of Melon Mambo cardstock, a smidge bigger.  Tie with Lost Lagoon Soft cording, #164938 then adhere to the card base with dimensionals.
