Today's card is inspired by this super colour challenge from CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge - use Pear Pizzaz, Basic Gray & Blushing Bride. Pear Pizzaz is one of my favourites and it has retired from the Stampin' UP!® Colour Collection, as has Blushing Bride, I was so happy to be able to feature these colours together for this challenge. *** The Trix ***
** Cluster three images on the lower half of the card with a subtle shading of colour **
* Stamp the books from the Birds Eye View Stamp Set, #161436 on a 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" Basic White cardstock layer with Memento Black ink.
* Use a Blender Pen to pick up colour from the stamp pads to colour in the books. ***Trix, squeeze the stamp pad together to transfer a bit of ink onto the lid of the stamp pad. Pick up the colour from the lid to create subtle shading and colour variation.
* Stamp the sweet little bird with Memento Black ink on a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock and cut out with scissors.
* Colour the bird with Sponge Daubers, #133773 to had a hint of colour to the bird.
***Trix, double stack the dimensionals and adhere the bird in front of the stack of books to create perspective.
* Stamp the sentiment from the Go To Greetings Stamp Set, #158763 with Memento Black Ink for the third image in the cluster. Then adhere to cardstock layer to a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" Basic White card base.
