Art Gallery & Go To Greetings Stamp Sets for #CC&S503

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card is inspired by the Double Challenge over @ CAS Colours & Sketches Challenge - use both the colours and the sketch to create a card, fun eh!  Please click the hyperlink or the challenge image below to visit the blog and enjoy the inspiration.

I don't have the exact colours listed, instead I used So Saffron in place of Barely Banana, Blushing Bride in place of Pretty In Pink, and Cherry Cobbler with a touch of Polished Pink, to capture that lovely pinky red of Rose Red.  Yes, I had a tiny piece of cardstock leftover, so I created a bit of a mix to get it as close as possible to the retired Rose Red.

***  The Trix  ***

* Stamp off to create a lighter colour - stamp off a bit of the So Saffron ink before stamping the flower from the Art Gallery Stamp Set, #158201 onto a piece of Shimmery White cardstock, #101910.  Then using a Water Painter, #151298 dilute the colour a bit more to create a soft yellow flower.

*  Mix colours - For the second part of the flower, stamp off using Polished Pink, then add a bit of diluted Cherry Cobbler with the Water Painter to create the Rose Red shade.

*  Stamp the sentiment from the Go To Greeting Stamp Set, #158763 three times with Blushing Bride, *Trix* cut out the flower with Paper Snips then touch up with a bit of Blushing Bride using a Water Painter.
