Sweet Citrus Bundle for #gdp376

Today's card is inspired by Connie Collins' card over @ Global Design Project for the CASE the Designer Challenge #gdp376.  I love Connie's monochromatic palette, the texture of the embossing folder and burst of flowers as the focal point in the centre of the card!  Click the hyperlink to visit the #gdp376 blog challenge and enjoy the inspiration.  

CASE means Copy And Selectively Edit, so I've CASEd Connie's card by choosing a monochromatic green colour palette, creating a focal image with the Sweet Citrus Stamp Set, #160641 & adding texture with the Sweet Citrus Embossing Folder & Dies, #160644.   The Sweet Citrus Bundle , #160645 is in the new January to April 2023 Mini Catalogue. 

***  The Trix  ***

*  Use the Stamparatus, #146276 and Sponge Daubers, #133773 to add various shade of colour to the limes.  Simply ink up the limes with Parakeet Party, stamp, then reink with Granny Apply Green to create a blending of colour.   *Trix* repeat this inking process a few times to get a good saturation of colour on the Soft Sea Foam cardstock. 

*  Repeat the use of colour - the card base, embossed layer, sentiment and image stamp of the outline of the limes are all Garden Green.  I love Stampin' Up!® colour coordination! 

*  Embellish with a hint of similar colour - I think Daffodil Delight is adjacent to Parakeet Party on the colour wheel and the stamped flowers looked like embellishments to me for this card.  I added a few gems and Parakeet Party Matte Decorative Dots, #159186 as well.
