Today's card is inspired by two challenges, Joanne's Clean & Simple Challenge #618 over @the Paper Players and the Snowflake theme over @ Perfectly CAS Challenge #33. Please click on the hyperlinks to visit the blogs and enjoy the inspiration you will find!
I love CAS or 'Clean and Simple' cards, they really showcase the individual elements of the card, whether it be the paper, the stamp, the die cut, or the colour. And I especially like CAS cards at Christmas because I can coordinate them to the wrapping paper I use!
The first card uses Orchid Oasis Ink, the second Tahitian Tide. Stampin' Up!® In Colors™ are always on trend. Check out the wrapping paper I found!
*** The Trix ***
* Die cut the 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 layer of Basic White cardstock with a Stylish Shape Die, #159183 from the centre third of the card.
* Use the Stamparatus, #146276 to align the card base with the card layer, position the stamp, remove the cardstock layer and stamp the card base. Perfect placement! Adhere the cardstock layer with dimensionals.
* Die cut the 'swoosh' of snowflakes from the Snowfall Thinlits Dies, (retired) or use the current Frosted Flurry Dies, #159811 or the Celebrations Tag Dies, #159866 or the Chic Dies, #158816 and group them together for a similar look.
* Adhere the snowflakes with glue unless they hang into the stamped area, pop those up with dimensionals.
