Holiday Tag Team for the Retro Challenge

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's simple card was inspired by the Retro #193 Anything Goes Challenge.  This is the perfect challenge for a Christmas card.  It's time to haul out my old favourite Christmas stamps, mix the old with the new and begin the Christmas card season.  Please click on the hyperlink to visit the Retro Rubber Challenge #193

The design layout is Amy's sketch from Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #556 a perfect layout if you like to make multiple quick and simple Christmas cards like I do :)

The 2004 wood stamp set called Holiday Tag Team,  matches perfectly with the sprays of pine cones on the Painted Christmas DSP pack, #156292 I think.  Yay for Stampin' Up!® coordination!  There were 14 little wood stamps in this terrific old set.

Assembly & Trix,

*  Adhere a piece of DSP to a Kraft Note Card, #159247 a smidge smaller.

*  Emboss a 1 1/4 piece of Evening Evergreen with the Wintery 3D Embossing Folder, #155433 and adhere with glue.

*  Stamp the pine cones with Early Espresso ink and colour with Crumb Cake & Soft Succulent Stampin' Blends Markers.  Die cut a circle from the Stylish Shapes Dies, #159183 and adhere with dimensionals.

***Trix, stamp the sentiment with Soft Succulent ink, fussy cut out and adhere with dimensionals.  I love fussy cutting sentiments b/c you can choose just the words you need.

*  Embellish with Rustic Metallic Dots, #159082.
