Today's card sketch was inspired by the Global Design Project #350 & what a lovely surprise - thank you Design Team for giving my card a Special Mention this week! :)
Assembly & Trix:
* Die cut Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper, #149612 using the Pretty Pop-Ups Dies. ***Trix, pass the die through the machine a few times to crease the thick watercolor paper. This die is super neat because some sections will cut out and others will impress the image, allowing you to 'pop up' some of the image later.
***Trix, the die depresses the thick watercolour paper creating a bit of a border, around the outside edge of the die. Use this as a guide to apply a base of water using Water Painters, #151298
* Dab or wash on colour - Here's the question - Which card do you prefer, blue or pink? The blue card uses Tahitian Tide & Parakeet Party, (2022-2024 In Color). The pink one uses Polished Pink & Pale Papaya, (2021-2023 In Color)
* Adhere the 4 x 5 1/4 watercolour layer to a Very Vanilla 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Stamp the sentiment using the Happiness Abounds Stamp Set, #159238 and embellish with 2022-2024 In Color™ Matter Decorative Dots, 159186 or Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon, #155672
