Texture Chic for Demonstrator Training Program Blog Hop June 2022

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop! We are so happy that you could join us today for this blog hop for ideas and creative inspiration. We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

My card was inspired by a great sketch from a Freshly Made Sketches Sketch Challenge.  It's easy to replicate using our fabulous Designer Series Papers.  This card features the terrific Kraft Notecards & Envelopes, # 159247 & Texture Chic Specialty Designer Series Paper, #158808, which coordinates so well with many Stampin' Up!® products.  I hope this card inspires my customers to mix it up, use the sketch with a variety of stamp sets, different sentiments and ink colours.

Assembly & Trix:

*  Adhere a 3 1/4 x 4 3/4 piece of DSP to a cardstock layer a smidge bigger, a 16th of an inch or so, just to pick up a colour within the paper for continuity.  Then adhere to card base.

*  Die cut a flower and leaves from the Summer Shadows Dies, #156618 with Basic White cardstock and Vellum.  ***Trix, lightly dab Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the back of the Basic White flower and leaf, allow the glue to dry slightly, until it becomes clear, then adhere it to the velum layer so the glue doesn't seep out.

***Trix, adhere the leaf to the flower and then adhere both to the card base after letting the glue set up a bit first.  Only glue in a few areas, so the flower and leaf have some dimension and lift off the card.

*  Stamp the sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set, #154983 and adhere with dimensionals.  Embellish with Elegant Faceted Gems, #152464 &/or Brushed Metallic Dots, #156506
