Hello and thanks for visiting!
Today's card is inspired by Jaydee's Clean-And-Simple Challenge over at The Paper Players. Check out their blog by either clicking on my card or the #PP596 image and enjoy the inspiration. Sort through your supplies for a fave stamp set and coordinating DSP and give this one a try!
When I opened my demonstrator preorder and saw this Free Sale a-bration stamp set and the Texture Chic Specialty DSP I knew they had to be on a card together!

Assembly & Trix:
* I love One Layer Cards - simple and quick! The ***Trix with this card is to stamp on the card base and cut out a circle from the one layer of DSP. I used the Stylish Shapes Dies, # 159183 to die cut the circle.
* Hippest Hippos, #159921 is a Free Stamp Set with a $60 order available July 1st. I checked out some images and yes Hippos do have pink bellies, which is perfect b/c Petal Pink is in the DSP. Colour the Hippo image with Stampin' Blends Markers in Smoky Slate, Petal Pink, Mango Melody & Soft Succulent after stamping with Memento Black Ink.
***Trix, create the sentiment you need. I masked off part of the Awwwww image and added Thanks from the On The Horizon Stamp Set, #157770 retiring June 30th
* To keep the card clean & simple, but still add a bit of sparkle, my ***Trix is to choose embellishments that match the DSP, these are the retired Artistry Blooms Adhesive Backed Sequins with some current 2021 - 2023 In Color™ Opal Rounds, #159185. And can you see the tiny bit of Petal Pink I flicked beside the Hippos? I wanted the circle to blend a bit more with the DSP so I added a touch of colour.

Enjoy & have a super day!
What a sweet little hippo and I love him nestled in that fabulous DSP. YOu were right, they did deserve to be showcased together! So glad you shared this with us at the Paper Players this week

Thx so much Jaydee, I wasn't sure if one piece of DSP was still ok for the one layer challenge, but yes, they needed to go together - Ha. Thanks for visiting and leaving your lovely comment. Love the design challenges - thank you!
