Catching Butterflies Stamp Set with Bouquet of Love Embossing Folder & Dies

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

The inspiration for today's card is two fold.  Stampin' Through The Catalog is featuring 'Catching Butterflies' (a free Sale-a-bration stamp set with a $60 order) as their Tuesday Stamp Set.  I combined it with my favourite Bouquet of Love 3D Embossing Folder and coordinating Dies.  The card layout is inspired by a sketch from Mary Fish at Stampin' Pretty, click here to visit the Stampin' Pretty website.

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Flirty Flamingo card base (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded in half portrait orientation)

3 1/2 x 4 3/3 Coastal Cabana Cardstock (CS) + scrap for sentiment

4 x 4 1/2 Basic White CS

4 x 4 1/4 Flirty Flamingo CS Emboss layer

Assembly & Trix:

*  Stamp the butterflies on the Basic White CS layer with Calypso Coral Ink and colour with Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Markers.

*  Adhere all card layers using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, (glue) as shown.

*  Emboss the top Flirty Flamingo (FF) layer and die cut.  ***Trix, try your best to line up the embossed heart in the center of the 4 x 4 1/4 FF layer for symmetry, I just try to eye ball it - remember its a handmade card :)   Then die cut the heart from the centre of the embossed layer.

*  Heat emboss the sentiment on the Coastal Cabana strip and adhere with dimensionals.
