Artfully Composed for #FMS519 & #JAI587

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Well my friends, today's card is one of those cards :)    Have you ever finished a card and it doesn't look quite like you imagined it would?  Well that was this card for me today  :)  I love the look of the Artfully Composed Suite, I was drawn to it, maybe because I want to push my creativity a bit with the big bold shapes.  I hope my card inspires you to create and play with colour and shape.

Today's card is created for two challenges.  The Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #519 - a beautifully simple sketch from Jen T  - and - the Just Add Ink Challenge #JAI597 - 'Choose Two'  Let me break it down for you.  #FMS519 has offered the sketch, #JAI587 has offered the elements, I've chosen to use Twine and a Fancy Edge to my card.  Please click on the images from #FMS519 & #JAI587 to visit their blog posts, and soak in the inspiration!

Assembly & Trix:

*  Die cut the edge of the Petal Pink layer and a strip of Basic Black CS then adhere together using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Die cut the leaf images with the adhesive, and adhere the colours together as shown.  ***Trix, I used adhesive on the top layer of each die cut, but used glue to adhere the dies to the Petal Pink CS layer.

*   Trim the excess of the die cuts from the Petal Pink layer and adhere to the Basic Black layer with glue.  Then adhere to the card base with glue.

*  Heat emboss the sentiment and adhere Basic Black Twine to the back of the sentiment with Stampin' Seal.  Adhere the sentiment to the card base with Mini Stampin' Dimensionals and embellish with Black Matte Dots.
