Quick & Simple Cards with the Deer Builder Punch

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

It's November 29th - time for quick and simple cards.  These cards were made in the summer when I wasn't quite ready for Christmas colours, but wanted to get a start on my Christmas cards.  The Be Dazzling Specialty Paper was a Sale-abration freebie, do you still have some in your stash?  This simple design is easy to replicate with any of our specialty papers, foil sheets, and glimmer papers.  And FYI, the Deer Builder Punch will be carrying over into upcoming catalogues - Yeah!  The sentiment is from the Evergreen Elegance Stamp Set in the Annual Catalogue.

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Polished Pink or Soft Suede card base (5 1/2 x 8 1/4 folded in half portrait orientation)

3 x 4 Be Dazzling Specialty Paper

3 x 4 Peaceful Prints DSP

7/8 inch x 4 1/4  Basic White cardstock (CS) for sentiment 

Polished Pink or Soft Suede ink

Assembly & Trix:

***The only 'Trix' I have for this card is to punch out the deer from the Be Dazzling Paper- or whatever the first 3 x 4 layer is.   The first layer is hidden, so punch out a deer before adhering it to the card base.

*  Adhere the first layer of 3 x 4 paper to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue) - 4 inch side is horizontal.

*  Adhere the second layer of 3 x 4 paper to the card - 3 inch side is horizontal.

*  The Soft Suede card has a second deer behind the Be Dazzling paper in Soft Suede, to create bit of shadow and enhance the monochromatic card.

*  Stamp the sentiment on the 7/8 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White CS and adhere with glue, or cut into two pieces and pop one piece up on dimensionals.
