Joyful Life for for PP555

Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card features the fabulous Joyful Life stamp set available in the new Mini Catalogue.   I was inspired by Laurie's Sketch Challenge at the Paper Players this week.  Click on either my card or the Paper Players image to visit their blog. 

 

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White card base   (4 1/4 x 11 folded in half, portrait orientation)

4 x 5 1/4 Basic White cardstock (CS) layer

2 x 4 scrap Basic White CS for tag and sentiment 

Joyful Life stamp set

Whimsical Trees stamp set

Tailor Made Tags Dies

Ink:  Memento Black & Mint Macaron

Stampin' Blends Markers:  Petal Pink & Flirty Flamingo

Simply Elegant Trim

Whimsy & Wonder Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Assembly & Trix

*  Stamp the holly image using Mint Macaron ink on the Basic White layer.  ***Trix, Stamp off once to create a lighter background image.

*  Adhere to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Stamp the pig using Memento Black ink on a scrap piece of Basic White.

*  Colour with the light and dark blends.

*  Die cut the pig using the Tailor Made Tags Dies.  

*  Stamp the greeting on the leftover piece of scrap Basic White CS and fussy cut out.

*  Die cut a second tag using the Whimsy & Wonder DSP.

*  Adhere the DSP tag on an angle using glue.

*  Tie a bow using the trim and adhere to the tag using a Mini Glue Dot.  ***Trix, place the glue dot on the back of the tag over the hole, press the bow into the hole on the front of the tag to adhere.

*  Adhere the stamped tag using Stampin' Dimensionals.

*  Adhere the sentiment using glue and a dimensional only where it hangs off the tag.
