Positive Thoughts & Many Messages for Fab Friday #216

Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card is inspired by the Fab Friday Challenge #216.  I love these colours! Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, So Saffron and Fresh Freesia.  Please click on either my card or the Fab Friday image to go directly to their blog post and soak in the inspiration!  Give it a try, these fabulous colours just say summer flowers to me.

I hope this card will inspire you to create a simple card with colours you love.  I used the  In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP) there are so many subtle woodgrain papers in this DSP pack.  I find I'm always able to find a terrific background to enhance a variety of images using different colour palettes.

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Soft Suede card base ( 4 1/4 x 11 folded in half, landscape orientation)

Positive Thoughts stamp set and Nature's Thoughts Dies (coordinating dies)

Many Messages stamp set

Ink Pads: Flirty Flamingo, Granny Apple Green, So Saffron, Fresh Freesia, Soft Suede

Assembly & Trix:

*  Die cut the rectangle from the light wood grain paper pattern using the Nature's Thoughts die.

*  Adhere the remaining woodgrain paper to the card based using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Stamp the flower form the Positive Thoughts stamp set in each of the Fab Friday Challenge colours and die cut using the matching dies.

*  Adhere the flowers to the card using glue.

*  Stamp a long sentiment from the Many Messages stamp set with Soft Suede ink and fussy cut out.

*  Adhere the sentiment piece using dimensionals.  ***Trix, I doubled up on Mini Stampin' Dimensionals for this sentiment strip.  I really wanted it to pop off the card.

*  Embellish with Champagne Rhinestone  Basic Jewels.

Assembly & Trix:

***Trix, I think the key to this card is the Stamparatus I use the Grid Paper to mark the corners of the card base to keep both layers of CS evenly placed.  And, once the tree stamp is positioned you know it will stamp in the same place each time.

*  Decide on the overall placement of the window by placing the rectangle die on the card before stamping.  ***Trix, with the card base secured to the  Stamparatus add marks on the Grid Paper where the rectangle die will cut.  I used 1/4 of an inch in from the side and 1 1/4 inch up from the bottom.

*  Stamp the tree stamp using Evening Evergreen ink and the tent using Memento ink on the Thick Basic White card base.

*  Stamp the tree stamp using Pear Pizzazz on the Pear Pizzazz layer.  ***Trix, I leave the card base on the Stamparatus and cover with the Pear Pizzazz layer to make sure its perfectly even with the Thick Basic White layer, then I stamp.

*  Die cut the window from the Pear Pizzazz layer.  ***Trix, I leave the Pear Pizzazz layer on the Stamparatus using the marks on the grid paper to align the rectangle die.  I secure the die cut with a post it note and then move it to the Stamp Cut and Emboss Machine.

*  Emboss the Pear Pizzazz layer with the texture embossing folder.

*  Blend more Pear Pizzazz ink on the trees to add dimension.  Blend Balmy Blue ink on the card for the sky.

*  Colour the tent and grass using the Stampin' Blends Markers .

*  Adhere the Pear Pizzazz layer to the card base with Stampin' Dimensionals.

*  Stamp the sentiment using Evening Evergreen and fussy cut out.

*  Adhere bits of linen thread to the back of the sentiment with Stampin' Seal adhesive, then adhere to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Tasteful Touches & Peaceful Moments for PP546 & GDP #297

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card  is a bit of a mash up!  Here's the story :)  We live in wine country and just celebrated our Wedding Anniversary with immediate family outside.  To be safe I ordered individual Nosh Boxes from a local winery - they were fabulous!  (Kind of like a charcuterie board in a box).   I decided I needed to send a thank you card to the winery but I didn't have a vision for the card.  The Winery is called Featherstone, the image on the label is a gorgeous painted feather, which looks suspiciously like Fresh Freesia.  I thought it would be neat to personalize the thank you card with a feather.  Then,........

The Paper Players posted a Clean-and-Simple Challenge from Joanne, with a theme of Fruits or Berries.  The Global Design Project for this week is a Color Challenge - Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia and Pear Pizzazz.  Voila -  the card came together!  Please click on the blog images from The Paper Players and the Global Design Project and visit these blogs.  You will be inspired!

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Fresh Freesia card base  (4 1/4 x 11 folded in half)

4 x 5 1/4 Fresh Freesia cardstock (CS) layer

2 3/8 x 2 3/8 Blackberry Bliss CS

2 1/4 x 2 1/4  Basic White CS for the grape image and a tiny piece for the sentiment.

Ink Pads; Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Freesia, Pear Pizzazz

Blackberry Bliss & Pear Pizzazz Stampin' Write Markers

Tasteful Touches & Peaceful Moments stamp sets

Nature's Pace retired stamp set

Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends Marker

Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim

Linen Thread

Assembly & Trix:

*  Stamp the feather using Fresh Freesia ink on the Fresh Freesia layer, then adhere to the Fresh Freesia card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Use Stampin' Write Markers to colour the grapes and stamp on the Basic White square.  ***Trix, I wanted the grapes to look like they are ripening, some green and some coloured.  Colour first with Pear Pizzazz and then add the darker Blackberry Bliss ink.  (dark over light)

*  Stamp the 'thank" in the corner tucked around the grapes.  ***Trix, I love the font of this stamp set but the full sentiment was too long for the space.  I used a scrap piece of paper and kept it close to the edge of the image square so that just the 'thank ' would be on the square.

*  Stamp the 'thank you' sentiment on a scrap piece of Basic White CS and cut the words apart.

*  Adhere the image to the Blackberry Bliss square using glue.

*  Colour the lace trim with the Fresh Freesia Stampin' Blends Marker.

*  Adhere the lace trim and the linen thread to the back of the image square with Stampin' Seal adhesive.

*  Adhere the square to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals (dimensionals)

*  Adhere the 'you' to the card with doubled up dimensionals.

Fine Art Floral for my VIP 6x6 DSP Challenge

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Todays post is about using 6x6 Designer Series Paper (DSP).  I posted a monthly challenge in my StampinTrix VIP group to create with 6x6 DSP.  To learn more about my VIP group please post a comment below or send me an email via the 'Contact Me' link in the menu bar above.

We so often fall in love with the gorgeous artwork on the 12x12 DSP, that it can be difficult to cut up the paper and use it.  So, I created a challenge to do just that.  How many cards can you get from one piece of 6x6 DSP?  Here are my cards.  I chose to do two sets and use two separate 6x6 pieces, because the 12x12 was a fabulous painting, it looked like a garden scene.   A Stampin' Up!® artist created the painting first and then the paper came from that.  No two sections of 6x6 were the same.  Please click here, Lesley's StampinTrix FB page to see how the cards came together.

Please sign up for my Newsletter.   While supplies last, I'm giving away a stack of retired 6x6 DSP for those who live in Canada as a little thank you gift :)

And here's the cards with the 1st piece of 6x6:

2nd piece pf 6x6:

I created these cards on my Lesley's #makeacardsendacard Saturday FB live.  Please join my FB live in July, leave a comment &/or share and I will put your name into the draw to win the cards I make during the FB live (draw available for Canadian viewers :)

*****Remember the Fine Art Floral DSP is retiring at the end of June.  Click here, Lesley's Online Store to shop for this fabulous paper now.  *****The Last Chance Products Sale offers many fantastic retiring products, some at discounted prices.   Please use the June 2021 Host Code (found on the top right side bar) if you spend $60 or more and I will send you a little thank you gift in the mail in July.

Enjoy and have a super day!

Create with Friends for #GDP296

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card is fun one, CASE the Designer - Emma Goddard for the Global Design Project Challenge.  I am often inspired by Emma's creativity, so this was a fun challenge to participate in.  Give it a try, just click on my card or the Global Design Project image to visit the blog post and enter your creation!

I chose three stamps sets to work with today - 3 you say? - yes three! because I had the vison of our Purple Coneflower  (Echinacea) garden in my head.  I really like the single flower image from Quiet Meadow, and to me it looks like a coneflower.  One section of our garden has really turned into a meadow - who knew Purple Coneflower can choke out weeds, ha, that's my kind of plant!  Our Purple Coneflowers are often visited by butterfly's so I had to add in a butterfly or two :)  enter the Positive Thoughts stamp set.  And finally the Create Forever sentiment just speaks to me.  It comes from the Create with Friends stamp set, and I hope to always be able to create and inspire others to create.

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock (CS)  (4 1/4 x 11 folded in half landscape orientation)

Five 3/4 of an inch strips of CS:  Evening Evergreen; Fresh Freesia; Rich Razzleberry; Blackberry Bliss

4 1/2 x 4  Basic White CS layer to create colour strip

Basic White scrap for the sentiment

Quiet Meadow and Create With Friends stamp sets

Positive Thoughts stamp set & Nature's Thoughts dies (dies match stamp set)

Basic Gray ink pad & Memento Black ink pad

Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends Marker

Matte Black Dots

White Baker's Twine

**Click here, Lesley's Online Store to shop now.  Please use Monthly Host Code (found at the top right side bar of my blog) when your order is $60 or greater and I will send you a thank you gift in the mail the following month.

Assembly & Trix:

*  Stamp the flower and butterfly all over the card front using Basic Gray ink.

*  Create a spatter of colour by flicking the Smoky Slate marker all over the card front ***Trix, to create a spatter look, use the brush tip end of the marker and flick it using the lid of the marker.

*  Adhere the 3/4 inch strips of CS to the Basic White card layer using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Die cut the coloured CS layer with the rectangle die.  ***Trix, to create a strip with subtle pieced edges, I repositioned and die cut again to create a smaller rectangle.

*  Adhere to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals (dimensionals)

*  Stamp the 'Create' and the 'Forever' using Memento Black ink, and fussy cut.

*  Loop and adhere the White Baker's Twine to the card using Mini Glue Dots.

*  Adhere the sentiments over the looped twine using dimensionals.

*  Embellish with Matte Black Dots as desired.

This is a perfect card to CASE - Copy And Selectively Edit!  Chose a stamp set that inspires you and add in your favourite colours.  Enjoy and have a super day!

Hello and thanks so much for visiting today!

Today's card is all about colouring - colouring for a bright vibrant colour challenge.  The Paper Players have inspired us with a gorgeous colour challenge this week, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Granny Apple Green and Basic Black!  Thank you Claire for your choice of colours!  Please click on either my card or the Paper Players Challenge image to visit there blog post.

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Basic Black card base ( 4 1/4 x 11 folded in half)

3 3/4 x 5 Basic White cardstock layer

Garden Birdhouses stamp set

Granny Apple Green & Bermuda Bay ink pads

Memento Black ink pad

Stampin' Blends Markers:  Melon Mambo; Bermuda Bay; Granny Apple Green; Smoky Slate; Highland Heather; Bronze

Assembly & Trix:

**This card is super simple, enjoy the colouring!

*  Stamp the post using Memento black ink along the left side of the card.  ***Trix, I repeated and overlapped this stamp so it looked more like a post.  I filled in the image slightly with Smoky slate, to add to the look of a pole.

*  Stamp the tall birdhouse in Memento black ink on the card and stamp again on a scrap piece of paper to create a mask.

*  Use the mask to cover the first birdhouse and stamp the leafy branch using Granny Apple Green ink at the top of the card.

*  Stamp the other birdhouses in Memento Black Ink as well as the hanger images.  ***Trix, I stamped the hanger/rope image three times to create a second, more slender pole for the one birdhouse to sit on.

*  Colour the birdhouses, birds and leaves with Stampin' Blends Markers.

*  Stamp the flowers using Granny Apple Green ink.

*  Stamp the sentiment with Bermuda Bay ink.

Wild Cats for FMS #490

Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card is inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #490 - A sketch by Jen T.  Please click on either my card or the FMS image to visit their blog post.  I hope my card inspires you to give this sketch a try.

I really wanted to created a dark background for this card to enhance the jungle feel but the challenge is to "keep it clean" and utilize the white space of the card.  So I decided to emboss the Basic White layer with the new Bark 3D Embossing Folder to add depth, dimension and flow with the hanging green vines, which are part of the sketch.

This stamp set wasn't my first choice in the new Annual Catalogue but I am so glad I've bought it now!  Its fresh and a little different, I know it will push my creativity.  The Designer Series Paper within the suite is gorgeous.  I haven't even played with the embossing folder yet.  Click here, Lesley's Online Store to purchase the In The Wild Suite.

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White card base (4 1/4 x 11 folded in half)

4 1/8 x 5 3/8 Basic White cardstock (CS) layer

Wild Cats Bundle  (stamp set and matching dies)

Bark 3D Embossing Folder

Ink Pads: Crushed Curry; Cinnamon Cider, Evening Evergreen; Soft Succulent

Memento Black ink pad

Blending Brushes

**Click here, Lesley's online store to purchase the Wild Cats Bundle.  Please use the monthly Host Code (found on the top right side bar of this blog) and I will send you a little thank you gift in the mail the following month.

Assembly & Trix:

*  Stamp the vine image on the right side of the card as per the sketch image using soft Succulent ink.

*  Emboss the Basic White CS layer with the 3D Embossing Folder and blend Soft Succulent ink on the vine images and very lightly across the card to unify the colouring a bit.

*  Adhere to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Stamp the tiger using Crushed Curry ink.  ***Trix, I also dabbed on a bit of Cinnamon cider to enhance the coloring, hoping this appeared a bit more realistic.

*  Stamp the stripes of the tiger using Memento Black ink.  This set is so versatile, you can create a tiger or a leopard, both images are included, it terrific!

*  Stamp the succulent plants using Evening Evergreen and die cut out.

*  Adhere the tiger and plants using Stampin' Dimensionals.

*  Stamp the Sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink and adhere using dimensionals.

Father's Day for Fab Friday #215

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

I have another Father's Day card for you today, this one with a retired Stampin' Up!® Father's Day stamp set called "For Father"  does any one remember it?  I hold on to stamps that have a connection to people in my life.  Even the oldies, with the wood mount stamps :)   My dad had an apple orchard, so it was perfect!

As well I used the Happy Father's Day sentiment from the current Best Year stamp set and a fabulous woodgrain pattern paper from the 'In Good Taste' Designer Series Paper.

The inspiration for this Father's Day card came from Fab Friday Challenge #215 - a square card!  Please click on my card or the Fab Friday image to go directly to their blog post for this challenge.  And play along, square cards can be quick and easy to make!  Enjoy!

And here's the card details:

4x4 Early Expresso card base (8x8 square folded in half)

3 7/8 x 3 7/8 In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (DSP) Woodgrain pattern

Basic White cardstock (CS) for image and a second strip for the sentiment

For Father stamp set (retired)

Best Year stamp set

Stitched Rectangle Dies

Granny Apple Green ink pad

Memento Black ink pad

Stampin' Blends Markers: Cherry Cobbler; Granny Apple Green; Bronze & Ivory; Cinnamon Cider; Crumb Cake; Seaside Spray; Gray Granite

Linen twine embellishment

Assembly & Trix:

*  Adhere the woodgrain paper to the Early Expresso card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Stamp the image with Memento Black ink.

*  Colour the image with Stampin' Blends Markers - so here's where I went a little crazy with colours :)   I tried to remember back to what our apple boxes looked like, we used bushel baskets mostly  but we did have a couple of wood boxes.  My dad's hats were always blue or green, and faded so my ***Trix is to blend two different colours to get that dirty old hat look to a ball cap :)  in this case Seaside Spray and Gray Granite.

*  Stamp the sentiment with Granny Apple Green ink and fussy cut out.  ***Trix, I wanted the sentiment to be close in size to the slats of the box, so I fussy cut them out.  I hope it adds a visual balance to the card.

*  Adhere 3 strips of Braided Linen Trim to the card front, by securing on the back with Stampin' Seal adhesive.

*  Adhere the sentiment to the apple box image using tiny pieces of dimensionals.

*  Adhere the image to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.

The sentiment included in the stamp set reads:

May Happiness touch your life today as you have so often touched the lives of others.  And here's another image from this stamp set

And for a bit of fun :)   Please answer in the comments below. Have a super day!

#1  Do you remember this stamp set and if so do you know the year it was available? - sadly I do not.

#2  There is another stamp in this set, do you know what the image is?

In the Wild for Father's Day and the TGIF Challenge 320

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card was inspired by #TGIFC320 - A Sketch Challenge.  Please click on either my card or the TGIF Challenge image to go directly to their blog post.  I added the Happy Father's Day sentiment from the Best Year stamp set.

When I was a kid I asked my dad to call me by my nickname - Tiger - I have no idea why I decided I wanted Tiger as a nickname - but my dad agreed with a simple - "sure" - never asking why - just agreeing and going with the flow.  I miss my dad, he passed five years ago and Father's Day is still hard, but also filled with happy memories like that one.  So, when I began creating with this Suite of products called "In The Wild", I knew I had to make a father's day card.

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Soft Succulent card base  (4 1/4 x 11 folded in half for landscape orientation)

4 x 5 1/4 Evening Evergreen cardstock (CS) layer

Soft Succulent CS pieces for the plants

Basic White CS scrap for the sentiment piece

Wild Cats Bundle

Bark  3D Embossing Folder

In The Wild Designer Series Paper (DSP)

Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen ink

**Click here, Lesley's online store to shop for the supplies needed to make this card.  Remember to use the Host code (found on the top right sidebar of my blog) when orders are $60 or more and I will send you a little thank you gift in the mail with your thank you card in July.

Assembly and Trix:

*  Emboss the Evening Evergreen CS layer with the Bark 3D folder.  ***Trix, I chose to use the "debossed" side of the folder because I thought it gave the card some interesting depth and dimension

*  Stamp the plants using Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen on Soft Succulent CS and Die cut out.

*  Die cut the tiger from the DSP.

*  Stamp the sentiment using Evening Evergreen on Basic White CS and fussy cut out.

*  Adhere the embossed layer to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Arrange the plants and tiger as desired.  Adhere with glue and dimensionals.  ***Trix, build the layers and add depth and dimension by gluing the first plant onto the card base and then adding the tiger with dimensionals.  Double up on dimensionals as needed to add more depth with the remaining two plants .

*  Adhere the sentiment across the middle with dimensionals and glue.

Enjoy and have a super day!

Garden Birdhouses stamp set

Beautiful Trees Dies

Ink Pads: Soft Suede, Pear Pizzazz, Balmy Blue

**Click here, Lesley's online store to shop for the card supplies used.  Remember mix it up :)  You can add and delete from the cart on my online store, based on the supplies you already have.  Change up the colour of the birdhouse, birds or sentiment. **Remember to use the Host Code for purchases $60 or more and I will send you an thank you gift in the mail in July.  The Host Code for the month is at the top of the right sidebar.

Assembly & Trix:

*  Die cut the tree from the Beautiful Trees Dies in Early Espresso.  ***Trix, I chose to use the largest tree with the most branches and then I cut the branches to fit the scale of the card.

*  Position the branch across the card first to decide placement of birdhouse, sentiment and birds.

*  Stamp the birdhouse and birdhouse hanger with Soft Suede ink.   Color with Stampin' Blends Markers.

*  Adhere the branch with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue

*  Stamp the birds and leaves on the Basic White very close to the branch.  I used Pear Pizzazz and Soft Suede.  Colour the birds with Stampin' Blends Markers as you wish.

*  Stamp the 'hello' with Balmy Blue ink.

*  Stamp the grass at the base of the card with Pear Pizzazz ink.

*  Adhere the Basic White layer to the Granny Apple Green CS layer.

*  Embellish as you wish.   I was trying very hard to stay true to the sketch, so I chose 3 birds and a couple of Rhinestone Basic Jewels and coloured them with a Balmy Blue Stampin' Blends Marker.  But then I thought it needed another rhinestone  - ha - total personal preference :)

Enjoy and have a super day!

Stampin' Blends Markers with Rubbing Alcohol Technique on a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box

Hello and thanks for visiting!

I've made a discovery!  and I have to share :)    The technique of using Stampin' Blends Markers with Rubbing Alcohol can be done on a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box - woohoo!  Soooo many possibilities!

I used the Artistically Inked Bundle to further embellish this little versatile box.

Please click here, Lesley's StampinTrix FB Live to learn the technique.

Please click here, Lesley's online store to shop the supplies needed.

Assembly & Trix:

*  Create the background on the Mini Paper Pumpkin Box (MPPbox) using Stampin' Blends Markers, Balmy Blue & Granny Apple Green, and 99% Rubbing Alcohol Technique watch the how to video here, Lesley's StampinTrix FB Live  Set aside to dry.

*  Stamp the floral image from the Artistically Inked stamp set using Balmy Blue ink on the strip of Thick Basic White cardstock (CS)  And, stamp another flower for the sentiment on a scrap of Basic White CS.  ***Trix, I used 2nd generation stamping to get a lighter floral image so I could stamp the sentiment in full strength Balmy Blue.

*  Score the CS strip at 2 3/4, 3 3/4, 7 3/4, 8 3/4 to wrap around the folded MPP box.

*  Fold the seams of the box and create the box.  Wrap the strip of CS around it to create a belly band.  Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)  ***Trix, mold the strip of CS into place, secure it enough to fit the box but loose enough to slip off.  Adhere the belly band together with glue.

*  Die cut the leaves from the Artistic Dies using Granny Apply Green CS.

*  Adhere the floral sentiment to the leaf die cut with glue.  Flip over and add Stampin' Dimensionals to the flower and adhere to the belly band.

Artistically Inked for PP544

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

The Paper Players Challenge for this week is a theme challenge from Ann - Signs of Summer!  For me summer is water, swimming, relaxing and having some time away at the lake.  So water, or the look of water inspired my card.  Please click on either my card or the Paper Players image to go directly to their blog post.  Enjoy the inspiration!

A little closer look at the bling which hopefully adds to the feel of water sparkling under a summer sun!  One of my fav summer sweet treats is a popsicle, so I had to use this little popsicle from the April 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit.

***The Trix with this card is to make it summertime easy!  Use what you love and what inspires you - for me that's water created with the Artistically Inked image using watery blue colours.  Then, use what you have, don't stress, make it easy, just create, pull out supplies from your stash and have fun - that's what summer is about!

And here's the card details:

5 1/2 x 4 1/2 Coastal Cabana card base (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 folded in half landscape orientation)

5 1/4 x 4 Basic White cardstock (CS)

Middle layer is Balmy blue, and it's a smidge bigger than the Basic White, just to be there  ha :)  5 5/16 x 4 1/16

Artistically Inked stamp set

Coastal Cabana and Balmy Blue ink pads

Metallic Mesh Ribbon

Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels

April 2021 Paper Pumpkin Kit for the popsicle, banner and smidge of glimmer under the sentiment.

*****To purchase the refill for the April Paper Pumpkin kit click here, So Cool Paper Pumpkin Kit available while supplies last.

Assembly & Trix:

*  Create the background by stamping the image from Artistically Inked with using Balmy Blue and Coastal Cabana all over the Basic White layer.

*  Attach to Balmy Blue layer, if using, with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue).

*  Wrap Metallic Mesh Ribbon around the card front and attach to the back of the Balmy Blue layer using Stampin' Seal adhesive.

*  Stamp the sentiment from the Artistically Inked stamp set using Coastal Cabana onto a tag from the Paper Pumpkin kit.

*  Cut to size and adhere the glimmer piece from the kit to the sentiment piece using glue.

*  Adhere the popsicle from the kit to a piece of Basic White CS and fussy cut out.

*  Adhere the popsicle to the sentiment using Stampin' Dimensionals.

*  Adhere the entire sentiment layer to the card with dimensionals.  ***Trix, double up the dimensionals on the popsicle to give added height and dimension to the card.

*  Embellish with the light blue jewels from the Holiday Rhinestone pack.

*  Stamp the flowers using Memento Black ink and colour with Polished Pink using sponge daubers.

*  Emboss the Basic Black CS piece with the Textile Embossing Folder.

Assembly and Trix:

*  Adhere the DSP to the card base using Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Emboss the Smoky Slate with the 3D Embossing folder and adhere to the card base with glue.  ***Trix, I wanted a square shape so I used the scalloped rectangle die, cut it out, and then moved the die along to re cut the shape into a square.

*  Adhere a coordinating piece of DSP to the scalloped square.  I chose the Night of Navy floral piece with Pacific Point flowers for contrast.

*  Cut a smaller scallop rectangle using the Scallop contour Dies from the DSP.  ***Trix, I chose to repeat the first layer of DSP because I love how the stripe and dots detail  coordinated together to create continuity with the strips of DSP layers.

*  Adhere the Metallic Ribbon and Black Glitter Ribbon to the back of the DSP with Stampin' Seal adhesive.

*  Adhere the strips layer to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

*  Stamp the Puffin with Memento Black ink and colour with the blends markers.

*  Stamp the cake with Memento Black ink and colour with blends markers, adding Wink of Stella to the candles.

*  Stamp the greeting using Memento Black ink.

*  Adhere the Puffin cake and sentiment on the DSP strip.  ***Trix, I used glue for the sentiment and cake, and dimensionals for the Puffin.

*  Embellish with Matte Black Dots.
