Quiet Meadow Bundle for GDP #293

 Hello and thanks for visiting!

Today's card was inspired by the Global Design Project #293.  Please click on either my card or the GDP image to go directly to their blog post!  Also, remember to follow them on Instagram :)  You will be inspired!

I wanted to create a very simple design and showcase the coordination of our Designer Series Paper (dsp) with  our Cardstock (CS).  The colours for GDP this week are Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.  This dsp  includes Pale Papaya, but all the other colours in the pack are other SU colours, but look how well all these colours coordinate together!  Amazing Stampin' Up!®

And here's the card details:

4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Evening Evergreen card base (4 1/4 x 11 folded in half, portrait orientation)

2 5/8 x 5 1/2  Soft Succulent CS layer

2 1/2 x 5 1/2 Hand-Penned dsp layer

2 x 5 1/2 scrap pieces of CS for the die cut flowers, use Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent & Evening Evergreen

1 inch square piece of Basic White CS for the sentiment

Evening Evergreen ink

Pale Papaya Ribbon

*****Please click here Lesley's online store to shop with me.  Please use the Host Code (found at the top of the side bar) for the month and then I can send you a thank you gift in the mail with your thank you card the following month :)

Assembly & Trix:

*  Adhere the dsp to the Soft Succulent CS layer with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue)

*  Adhere the dsp and CS layers to the Evening Evergreen card base with glue.

*  Die cut the flowers using the Meadow dies using the above CS colours.

*  Stamp the 'love' sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink and die cut out using the tiny tag from the Meadow dies.

*  Glue the flowers together and add a tie of Linen Thread if you wish.   ***Trix, I used a Cinnamon Cider Stampin' Blends Marker to colour the Linen Thread because I wanted it to match the dsp.  I simply liked the little tie of thread as well as the ribbon.  Make sure you attach the tiny tag before you knot the thread in place.

*  Adhere a Pale Papaya bow using Mini Glue Dots.

Enjoy and have a super day!
