Butterfly Bouquet Blog Hop with Kylie and Bruno Bertucci

Hello, today I'm excited to be part of Kylie and Bruno Bertucci's Butterfly Bouquet Blog Hop.  Thank you for joining us!

I hope this blog hop provides you with ideas and creative inspiration.   We are a group of Stampin' Up!® Demonstrators from around the world that are taking part in training that is helping us to build a successful Stampin' Up!® business and reach some goals we have set. We really appreciate your support.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

As well as the Butterfly Brilliance stamp set and Brilliant Wings Dies, I have added in the Ridiculously Awesome and Dragonfly Garden stamp sets.  I think I heard that each of Stampin' Up!®'s markets are represented in this butterfly collection?  I'm not sure about that,  but I decided to try and create a different coloured card for each of the different butterflies in this set.  Watercolour Pencils were used directly on coloured cardstock to enhance the colours of each butterfly.

Here's the card details:

*  Each card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 (4 1/4 x 11 folded in half)
*  Card stock colours:  Balmy Blue; Seaside Spray; Crumb Cake; Basic White; Bumblebee; Daffodil Delight

*  Stamp the flowers and sentiment on the card using the matching ink.  Gray Granite was used on Basic White.

*  Stamp the butterfly on coloured cardstock using Black Memento Ink, then cut out using the Brilliant Wings Dies.  The Crumb Cake butterfly card was stamped with Early Expresso and Smoky Slate was used for the Basic White butterfly.

*  Colour with Watercolor Pencils and use Blender Pens to soften the lines, and create different depths of colours.

***  Here's my list of butterflies that inspired my colouring:  Canadian Tiger Swallowtail; Cabbage White; Clouded Sulphur; Western Tailed Blue; Blue Copper and Common Wood-Nymph.

Enjoy the hop!
